Adocks Celebrate 70th Wedding Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Adcox celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary on June 25. The couple are part of The Gathering, a house church.
Mr. Adcox was co-founder of Baptist Laymen's Witnessing Foundation that, since 1954 has conducted Lay Led meetings in churches in U.S., Korea, Australia, India, Africa and several countries in Europe.
Mr. Adcox was founder and Chairman of Ada Company Inc. and Mills River Industries Inc.
Their son Thomas Adcox and Linda Bell Adcox and adopted Stephanie, live in Laurel Park. Their daughter, Julia Congdon and husband Dana live in New York City. They have three grandsons, Dana who died in 1983, Mark and family who live in LondonEnglandand Eric and family who live in Hendersonville.
