Henderson County Parks and Recreation Department will host tennis classes for children and adults in Jackson Park.
Classes are for less experienced players. For children, ages 8 to 10, classes will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. July 15, 17, 22 and 24. For children, ages 11 to 14, classes will meet from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on the same days. Cost is $36 per session with a minimum class size of four and a maximum of eight.
Adult classes will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for beginners and from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. for intermediates/advanced players Monday and Thursday nights, July 14, 17, 21 and 24. Cost for classes is $39 per session. All participants will need to bring a tennis racket.
