Kathy U. Davidson, 55

She was the daughter of the late Grace Unger and was preceded in death by her daughter, Ariadne Una Kensinger, who died May 19, 2008.

She had lived in Henderson County for the past 22 years, coming from Boston and was a member of the N.C. Horticulture Association.

She is survived by her husband, Richard C. Davidson of Fletcher; grandson, Oscar Eakett of McKinney, Texas; two godchildren, Aaron Emory and Cayta Jordan; and her sister, Reatha Lyda of Hendersonville.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Oakdale Cemetery. Following the service will be a reception at her house. Memorials may be made to the Henderson County Humane Society, P.O. Box 706, Hendersonville, N.C. 28793.

She was always dedicated to helping others and was a touchstone to many and will be greatly missed.
