Minnie L. Mitchell, 86

A native of Belton, S.C., she had resided in Henderson County for one year. She was the daughter of the late John M. and Ina Chasteen Kelly. She was cared for by her granddaughter, Christi Ballard, for the past year and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by her husband, Elmer Mitchell of Piedmont, S.C.; one son, Randy Knight of Piedmont, S.C.; one daughter, Lynn Jackson of Easley, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Thos. Shepherd Funeral Directors and Cremation Memorial Center is in charge of the arrangements.
